PERINATAL PRODUCTIONS

Perinatal Productions was created in ~1979 to provide both live and home-study education in electronic fetal monitoring for the entire obstetric team. In 1998, Perinatal Production added educational materials for point-of-care ultrasound in obstetrics and women's health care. Throughout this time, consultation services have been requested in all aspects women's care, including obstetric nursing, midwifery, electronic fetal monitoring, and sonography.

Who is Perinatal Productions

Cydney Afriat Menihan, CNM, MSN, RDMS is the creator and founder of Perinatal Productions. Cydney has more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of women's health care, midwifery, nursing and medical education, and consulting services. She was instrumental in bringing ACNM and ARDMS together to create a sonography certification exam for midwives practicing ultrasound. She was the first Chair of the Midwifery Sonography Exam development committee. She was formerly an instructor at Brown Univesity Program in Medicine and an assistant clinical professor at the Unversity of Rhode Island School of Nursing, Program in Midwifery. She is the author of home-study programs, numerous referred manusripts, book chapters, and textbooks.
